POLISH EDITS #10 by KACPER KAPSA
It’s been like almost 8 months since our last POLISH EDITS EP. We didn’t plan to do such a long break between those two EP’s but as always at TVPC HQ – it kind of happened. This one is very special for us – no.10 in the series that also supposed to be our last one (but don’t worry it won’t be – we have already 5 more planned). So for the tenth time we are giving you 100 free downloads of two polish edits, this time the man behind those tracks is Kacper Kapsa – the co-founder of our little label and also the promoter behind the amazing All Nite Long Parties in Częstochowa – that are for years now, one of the the best nights in Poland devoted to open minded electronic music with an amazing crowd. Track no.1 is a great moody, almost tribal, balearic track by the rock band Bóm Wakacje w Rzymie that only released one 7″ in 1986 on the state label Tonpress – the track “Dziewiąty” comes from that single. The edit got some extra drums and extended parts – perfect as a soundtrack for a sunny and lazy day at some lake in the Mazury region. Track no.2 was recorded by Püdelsi – a well know polish “art psychedelic” band where most of the vocals are sung by Kora (from Maanam) – no exception is the track “Wyro Pudla” that comes from they 1988 album “Bela Pupa”. Funk – punk mutant disco for dancing or getting fucked up with vodka at the bar in some run down dirty bar near the Łódź Kaliska station. Enjoy!
