The Polish Cut-Outs in Space

Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space radio show has been, for 9 years now, an never-ending source of musical inspiration for us and our like minded fellow friends in Poland (..and of course still is). It even kinda inspired me (Zambon) indirectly to do the whole “polish edits” thing. The “Eurasia Mix” by Baris K that i heard for the first time on BIS, got me thinking if i could do something similar with “vintage” polish tracks.  Why am i writing this? Because on the last show Tim Sweeney aired our special The Very Polish Cut Outs in Space Mix that we recorded especially for Beats In Space. Feels good to join a great cast of special guest – which through all those years had the pleasure to play their music on the show and in the same time inspire lot’s of people like us to never stop searching for the perfect beat…..Hope you enjoy!

Noc Nad Wigrami – TVPC Mix 03 by Funkoff

Those of you, who follow us on our facebook profile now that lately we have been very busy working on our first vinyl and doing the first batch of the Polish Cock T-Shirts….so busy that we totally forgot to post our latest installment in the Polish Mixes series….
Our third mix in the series that was recorded  by the polish digger and music lover – Funkoff, who is also the man behind the fantastic “Polish Disco” compilation that came out in 2008. You also may know him from the brilliant Funkoff Edits release on Titanic Ballroom that got lot’s of buzz from famous producers and dj’s back in 2011. The mix, which was recorded only with vinyl records, is a beautiful and magical journey to the shores of sensual polish folk and psychedelic music with a mysterious morning breeze coming from the polish jazz mountain…..lay, down, relax and dream a little dream….

Polish Edits # 5 by Chłopak z Sąsiedztwa

After over a year since we started our TVPC label our Polish Edits series are coming to a halfway point. We decided that  we gonna do 10 EP’s in total and at the end put out an exclusive limited double CD with a collection of all the edits, plus some bonus tracks….but that’s in a near future. So back to the present tense…Polish Edits  No. 5 was done by a new guy and producer on the polish music scene – Chłopak z Sąsiedztwa (Boy from the Hood). These two are very special and will keep you groovin for the first days of spring….Track A is a brilliant edit of Tadeusz Nalepa’s (the guy behind Breakout) “Dbaj o Miłość” (Take Care Of Love) which was tastefully extended and got some pumped up percussions. On the B Side Zdzisława Sośnicka’s classic “Moja Muzyka To Ja” (My Music Is Just Me) get’s an uplifting dance floor treatment. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do..here at the TVPC HQ.

The Very Polish Cut-Outs LIMITED T-SHIRTS are here!!!

We finally decided to make our own trademark t-shirts with the famous “polish cock” logo, which was designed by Bartek Szymkiewicz who is also responsible for all of our Polish Edits covers and the upcoming 7″ inch. The T-Shirts will be produced by the new and exciting fashion label RODODENDRONfrom Poznan, Poland. 100% Cotton with a screen printed logo.

In our new page section you will find an idiot proof instruction how to become a proud owner of one of these “cockish” t-shirts and also some more pics and details.

Polish Edits EP #4 by Zambon

We start the year with the fourth installment in our Polish Edits series. This time, the artist behind the EP is the originator and co-founder of The Very Polish Cut-Out’s – Zambon. The release contains two edits of two more rock/folk orientated polish groups – Breakout and Czerwone Gitary (The Red Guitars). Both tracks were originaly released in the early 70′s. “Powiedzmy To” (Let’s Say It) by Breakout was transformed into a 5 minute long psychedelic folk disco jam with extra percussions, delays and synths what made the track change from undencable to dancable. “Pejzaż Miasta” (Landscape Of The City) by Czerwone Gitary got stripped down from the heavy guitar solo and the middle and got some extended intro and some of the parts. We hope you enjoy!
