Polish Edits EP #4 by Zambon

We start the year with the fourth installment in our Polish Edits series. This time, the artist behind the EP is the originator and co-founder of The Very Polish Cut-Out’s – Zambon. The release contains two edits of two more rock/folk orientated polish groups – Breakout and Czerwone Gitary (The Red Guitars). Both tracks were originaly released in the early 70′s. “Powiedzmy To” (Let’s Say It) by Breakout was transformed into a 5 minute long psychedelic folk disco jam with extra percussions, delays and synths what made the track change from undencable to dancable. “Pejzaż Miasta” (Landscape Of The City) by Czerwone Gitary got stripped down from the heavy guitar solo and the middle and got some extended intro and some of the parts. Polish Edits EP #3 by Invent

In time, for the last days of summer, we give you our third EP in the Polish Edits Series. The man behind the release is Invent, a young polish producer and dj who has his roots in the polish hip hop scene but lately made a turn to 4×4 electronic music. He made two short edits of two classic polish cut’s by the one and only Czesław Niemen & jazz/funk composer Witold Szczurek. Definetly proper dj tools to keep the crowd dancing. Enjoy!

Finally we are proud to present to you the second installment in the Polish Edits series. Our new Polish Cut-Out’s Mix (the 2nd in the series) comes from Old Spice – our dear friend & contributor from Zielona Góra. This mix is something very special, as it contains, lots of previously unrealesed polish music edits from the men and, if this wasn’t enough, the whole thing was recorded live in december 2010 at the Nocne Marki Awards in Warsaw. Enjoy….this mix is a true gem!

Polish Edits EP #1 by Old Spice

The Very Polish Cut-Outs Dj’s / Nocne Marki Awards

The Very Polish Cut-Outs DJ’s (aka Zambon & Pnk. Discorp) will appear at these years Polish Nightlife Awards called Nocne Marki in Warsaw this friday performing a 1 hour set filled with only polish music. Alongside them you will also have the chance to see one of our friends and contributors – Old Spice.
